GOOD NEWS CHURCH

Pastor Ken Moberg is a veteran of the U.S. Army (101st Airborne Division), and a graduate of Wheaton College (BA 1977) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv 1985, DMin 1997). Ken is the founding pastor of Highland Community Church (EFCA) of Wausau, Wisconsin, where he served for 16 years before becoming Superintendent of the Forest Lakes District of the EFCA, a post he served for 9 years before returning to Highland as Executive Pastor, in which capacity he served the church for another 7 years. Since then, Ken has been serving as an intentional interim pastor with Interim Pastor Ministries. Ken is the author of Help – We Just Lost Our Pastor, a step-by-step guide for pastoral transitions. He has been married to his wife Tina for 47 years, and they have two grown daughters and eight grandchildren.

Marcus Knight has been serving as the Pastor of Youth and Music Ministries since 2019. Before moving to Wisconsin Marcus graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Education and taught 4th and 5th grade in Arizona for 7 years. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at Bethel Seminary. He is married to Michal and they have three daughters Riley, Elayna, and Hazel.

Tess Waller has been attending Good News for over 25 years.  Her duties include helping prepare for the Sunday service, office duties, scheduling and maintaining communication to help things run smoothly. Tess attended the University of Minnesota and has a Bachelors of Science in Business.  She is married to Jason and they have 4 children.  She enjoys reading and traveling; and watching soccer, theater, curling or anything else her kids are involved in.

Kristy Luedtke is the Fiscal & Office Coordinator, and she is responsible for all fiscal needs of the church as well as maintaining the day-to-day office operations, serving as the primary office contact of Good News to the members.
Kristy was born and raised locally and is a graduate of Northcentral Technical College with a Degree in Small Business Entrepreneurship with a focus in office administration and accounting. She has a passion for bookkeeping, spreadsheets and graphic design. She has been married to Willy for over 10 years and they have 3 beautiful children; Wyatt, Waylon and Cecilia. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Leah Bouton is the media coordinator at Good News Church. She works with the pastors to facilitate the media presentations for the Sunday services. She also assists with the streaming of the Women's Bible Study.
Leah has attended Good News since its origin, except for her time in college and overseas while her husband, Willy, served in the Navy.

When not working at Good News, Leah works at a local business that they started in 2008. Although her college degree is a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, she currently works as a business manager for their business. Leah and Willy have been married over 28 years. They have three adult children living in various parts of the country.
